The Methodist Home for Children and Youth selects Evans to serve as President and CEO.

The Methodist Home for Children and Youth has appointed Alison Evans, MBA, to the position of President and CEO. She assumed the leadership role at The Methodist Home upon the retirement of Dr. Steve Rumford.

Previously, Ms. Evans was the Vice President of Donor Relations at the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches in Live Oak, Florida, for 28 years in a variety of leadership roles. She was honored for her dedicated service as the recipient of the Leadership Award by the Florida Association of Child and Family Agencies and the Friend of Children Award by the Florida Coalition for Children.

Ms. Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Business Administration and the Master in Business Administration degree from Stetson University in Florida. She began her career serving at Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches as a college summer worker.
