University of West Florida selects Ghosh to be Associate Director of the Center for Cybersecurity

The University of West Florida as selected Tirthankar Ghosh, Ph.D., to be the Associate Director of the Center for Cybersecurity and Professor in the Department of Information Technology. He will join the university in August 2018.

Dr. Ghosh currently serves as Professor of Information Technology Security at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. During his 12-plus year career at St. Cloud, he was the Director of the Information Technology Security Program for six years. Before his career in higher education, he was a Systems Engineer and Executive with CESC Ltd. in Calcutta, India.

Dr. Ghosh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University in India. He received a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering in 2002 and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications and Networking track) in 2005 at Florida International University.
