Alexander to serve as Director of School of Nursing at Columbus State University
Columbus State University in Georgia has appointed Dr. Janet Alexander as the Director of the School of Nursing. Dr. Alexander will join the university on August 1st.
Dr. Alexander currently serves as Dean of Health Sciences & Director, RN-BSN online completion program at Georgia Highlands College. Previously, she was at Samford University, where she was coordinator of the RN-MSN and Nurse Educator tracks, among other positions there. Dr. Alexander also has expertise in Problem-Based Learning and Evidence-Based Practice.
In addition to earning a BSN and MSN from the University of Alabama-Birmingham, she holds an EdS in Educational Administration and an EdD in Educational Leadership from Samford University.
