It is my mission to engage every student and cultivate academic success, wellness, and personal and professional growth from recruitment to graduation and beyond. We must immerse ourselves into where students live, recognize their challenges, and support the cultural traditions they embody. I am eager and ready to work alongside all university stakeholders to continue to advance a culture of success throughout campus.”

In a statement to the campus community, President Jones said, “I would like to thank Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, Dr. Maria A. Lumpkin, who has been extremely instrumental in leading our commitment to student-centeredness during this transitional period.”
