Clarke Joins Savannah State University as Vice President for Enrollment Management

Savannah State University in Georgia has appointed Raymond Clarke to the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management after a national search. He has served in higher education for 15 years, with more than 10 years in leadership roles in areas of enrollment management.

Principal and owner of Clarke’s Consulting, Mr. Clarke provides management consulting and enrollment services to postsecondary institutions. He brought to his consulting business more than 15 years of experience in enrollment management at Southern University and A&M College in Louisiana. At Southern, he worked through the ranks in Financial Aid to become Associate Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, a leadership role in which he served from 2013 to 2018.

Mr. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University in Missouri. He earned his Master of Public Administration degree from Southern University, where he is completing his Ph.D. degree in Public Policy.

He hold a certificate in Strategic Enrollment Management from AACRAO and a certificate in Enrollment Management and Institutional Marketing from Walden University.
