College of Coastal Georgia Names Salaway the VP for Advancement

The College of Coastal Georgia has announced the appointment of Kevin Salaway to the position of Vice President for Advancement. He will assume his new responsibilities on January 1, 2017.

Mr. Salaway will bring significant experience in marketing, branding, and fundraising to the college. He has served as the Director of Development and University Relations at The Pennsylvania State University in Hazleton since 2006. He joined the university in 2003 as the Director of Institutional Advancement, before assuming his present duties. 

Before his career in higher education, he was Director of Marketing and Business Development for Commonwealth Telephone Enterprises in Pennsylvania from 1998 to 2003. He held several managerial roles in marketing with Nabisco Brands, Inc. in New Jersey from 1980 to 1998.

Mr. Salaway holds an MBA in Marketing Management from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from State University of New York at Binghamton.
