Piedmont selects Jones to serve as VP for Administration and Finance

Piedmont College has named Kenneth J. Jones to the position of Vice President for Administration and Finance. Jones brings more than 19 years of not-for-profit experience in higher education as a finance and administrative executive and more than eight years in the for-profit sector.

 

Since 2001, Jones has served as Vice President for Finance and Administration and CFO at Woodbury University, an independent professional and liberal arts university in Los Angeles, California. He also taught undergraduate courses in financial accounting and managerial accounting and a graduate class in controllership.

 

Before joining Woodbury, he was Controller at Otis College of Art and Design in L.A. for five years. From 1988 to 1996, he was Senior Accountant and Controller for Air Frame Mfg. and Supply Co., Inc., in Valencia, California.

 

With an Associate in Arts degree in management from the University of Maryland, Jones holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in finance and accounting from Texas A&M University. He earned his Master of Arts degree in organizational leadership from Woodbury University.
