Wohlstein named Senior Director of Development for the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia

The University of Georgia has selected Melissa Wohlstein to serve as Senior Director of Development for the College of Veterinary Medicine. Ms. Wohlstein brings more than two decades of experience in advancement and development in higher education and nonprofit organizations to the leadership position.

Ms. Wohlstein had served as Vice President for Advancement at Radford University in Virginia since 2014. Overseeing a 24-member staff, she was responsible for the leadership and management of the university’s Offices of Advancement and Alumni Services.

Previously, Ms. Wohlstein has served as the Associate Vice President of Advancement at Georgia Southern University, Senior Director of Development at the University of Florida Foundation for the College of Health and Human Performance, and Assistant Director of Annual Giving at the University of Central Florida Foundation.

She holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alabama.
